Realizarea de investitii directe în societati românesti reprezinta procese laborioase, dar asemenea operatiuni sunt adesea însotite de câstiguri financiare notabile. Evaluarea cantitativa a riscurilor legate de societatile în care urmeaza sa se investeasca consta în analiza sensitivitatii aclor parametri ai planului de afaceri care prezinta cel mai important impact asupra proiectiilor financiare. Cel mai frecvent, se anlizeaza influenta deviatiilor fata de plan pentru: nivelul vânzarilor, riscul valutar, performantele salariatiolor si alte articole importante de cost. To assess the pharmacodynamic effects of furosemide in pregnancy. Twenty-one pregnant women who received furosemide 20 mg daily had cardiac output (CO), stroke volume (SV), and total peripheral resistance (TPR) measured by Doppler technique before and after treatment. Furosemide was initiated at 22.4 +/- 6.0 weeks gestation. CO and SV decreased (mean +/- SD: 1.2 +/- 0.2 L/min and 17+/-3 mL, respectively), whereas TPR increased (101+/-26 dyne.sec.cm(-5); p < 0.001 for all) after 2.9+/-1.4 weeks. Hemodynamics did not approach the expected mean for pregnancy. While furosemide improved the hyperdynamic circulation in pregnancy, it did not lower blood pressure or cause clinically significant vasoconstriction.

Recruitment of macrophage precursors to the adventitia plays a key role in the pathogenesis of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs), but molecular mechanisms remain undefined. The innate immune signaling molecule CD14 was reported to be upregulated in adventitial macrophages in a murine model of AAA and in monocytes cocultured with aortic adventitial fibroblasts (AoAf) in vitro, concurrent with increased interleukin-6 (IL-6) expression. We hypothesized that CD14 plays a crucial role in adventitial macrophage precursor recruitment early during AAA formation. CD14(-/-) mice were resistant to AAA formation induced by 2 different AAA induction models: aortic elastase infusion and systemic angiotensin II (AngII) infusion. CD14 gene deletion led to reduced aortic macrophage infiltration and diminished elastin degradation. In spite of the interest in AHS, there are not as many applications as could be expected. We have previously pinpointed the problem to rely on the difficulty of AHS authoring. Adaptive features that have been successfully introduced and implemented until now are often too fine grained, and an author easily loses the overview. This paper introduces a three-layer model and classification method for adaptive techniques: direct adaptation rules, adaptation language and adaptation strategies. The benefits of this model are twofold: on one hand, the granulation level of authoring of adaptive hypermedia can be precisely established, and authors therefore can work at the most suitable level for them. On the other hand, this is a step towards standardization of adaptive techniques, especially by grouping them into a higher-level adaptation language or strategies. In this way, not only adaptive hypermedia authoring, but also adaptive techniques exchange between adaptive applications can be enabled.
